花季传媒Establishes Rapid Credentialing Program for Displaced Workers

花季传媒 (IRSC) is pleased to announce that it has received $1,159,197 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Governor鈥檚 Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Rapid Credentialing grant by the Florida Department of Education to provide unemployed, underemployed or furloughed workers with training in in-demand areas of the regional workforce. The grant establishes the 花季传媒 Rapid Credentialing program, which bolsters the College鈥檚 ability to connect residents with short-term, in-demand, workforce/career and technical education credentialing and certificate programs. Eligible students will have program fees and books paid for by the grant; earn their credentials fast鈥攖ypically within months; and have access to 花季传媒Career and Transfer Services for assistance with their job search.

花季传媒annouces the Rapid Credentialing Program which bolsters the College's ability to connect residents with short-term, in-demand, workforce/career and technical education credentialing and certificate programs.

鈥淭he Rapid Credentialing program will have significant impact on quality of life for our residents, and I want to thank Governor DeSantis and his administration for infusing funding into 花季传媒quick training opportunities,鈥 declares Dr. Timothy Moore, President of 花季传媒. 鈥淚ndividuals can receive upskilling for their current job or reskilling for employment in high-demand jobs, ultimately extending economic opportunity for area families and building a dynamic workforce pipeline for regional businesses.鈥

The Rapid Credentialing program offers certificate and career training opportunities in areas that include electric power plant technology; accounting, entrepreneurship and business; health science; automotive; HVAC; landscape and horticulture; firefighting; corrections; and private security officer. Several programs include courses that are credit-bearing and may apply toward corresponding Associate in Science degrees.
